My name is Ruby Oliva and I'm from San Antonio, Texas. I've been playing the oboe since 2006 and teaching since 2016. I studied at Texas State University for 5 years where I participated in the oboe studio and learned to make my own reeds. I teach in various schools and districts in the south central area of Texas. In my spare time I enjoy playing in various groups in the community, practicing my instruments, reading, and making reeds for both myself and my students.
